Other Info
| The theme of this Fuchi is Amaryu, Dragon. The craftsman, Kiyosada from Sendai, was a high rank craftsman. He was born in 1741 and initially was taught by his father but moved to Edo and became a disciple of the Omori Tradition. In 1780s he returned to Sendai and became an official worker of the Date Clan with his father. By use of Sen-Zogan technique he created wonderful precise gold lines in his work to make his themes striking, such as in this item. It has Passed the Hozon Tosogu Shinsa in 2023. |
