| The theme of this Wari-kogai is Dragon among Clouds. The craftsman, Tokinobu, was born in 1828 and passed away in 1879 at the age of 52. He was a disciple of Yanagawa Naotoki. Later he was adopted by Sanno Naoteru. This Wari-kogai depicts a dragon among clouds on the patina silver surface by the Katakiri-bori technique. It passed the Hozon Tosogu Shinsa in 2011. |
