| This craftsman, Muneaki, was a disciple of Nomura Kanenori. Muneaki was active during the Mid Edo Period in Hikone, Ohmi Province. His craftsman's name "Go" was Yumeishi. The features of this Tsuba resembles Soheishi / The Kitagawa Tradition. It is elaborate work for an fine Tsuba. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Shinsa in August 2022. The Paulownia box was recessed for this item. |
