The theme of this Tsuba is Kinchaku Pouch with Chrysanthemum Pattern. The craftsman, Masahisa, was active during the late Edo Period in Iwaki, Mutsu Province. The design of this Tsuba is very unique with Iron with details in gold and gives a strong impression with a lot of depth. It has passed Tokubetsu Hozon Shinsa in August 2023.
