Other Info
| The theme of this Tsuba is Tawara and Tomoe crafted by the Sukashi technique on the surface. One is Tawara, rice bale shape and the other is Tomoe, comma shape. It is Mumei but has been attributed to the Ko-kachushi Tradition. This Tradition means "made during the Muromachi Period, before the Edo Period." It is a simple design but gives a robust impression. A very impressive Tsuba. It passed the Hozon Shinsa in 2010. |
